VIP Event 2019: Kevin Gascoyne and the ‘Champagne of Teas’

The Toronto Tea Festival planning committee is proud to present the unveiling of Kevin Gascoyne’s Darjeeling documentary at the Toronto Tea Festival 2019. Come see the English premiere of the CBC’s documentary at this exclusive VIP Event.

Kevin Gascoyne has been travelling to the Himalayas as a tea-taster and buyer for over 25 years. The CBC sent a documentary film crew to follow him on his annual quest for the select lots that that represent the finest that the gardens of Darjeeling have to offer.

This documentary, made originally in French, has been translated especially for this VIP evening and will be screened in English for the first time.

Friday, February 1st 2019, 5:30pm-7:00pm
5:15pm – doors open to event space
5:30pm – brief introduction of the film
5:45pm – screening begins
6:30pm – Q&A with Kevin Gascoyne

Tickets are $10 for early bird, and $15 regular price while supplies last.

Advance purchase is strongly recommended, as availability is limited. Once tickets have sold out, they will not be available for purchase at the door.

The Toronto Tea Festival will be open from 12:00pm. VIP ticket includes VIP Event only. If VIP attendees wish to browse the festival before the VIP Event, they will need to purchase Festival entry separately. VIP attendees without general Festival Admission tickets will be admitted after 5:15pm.
